The Gathering Together Of The Waters Called He Seas

¶ And God said, Let the awaters under the heaven be gathered together unto bone place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land aEarth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

One of the many blessings of serving  in the Newport Beach, California Mission is the ability to enjoy the Beach!  I was born with the love of water so being able to view the great ocean on a regular basis brings joy into my life. So many times we are amazed as we see the blessings of why we were called to serve in this particular place.  God is all knowing and loving.

This week was another week of service and family but also a cold for Elder Prater.  Besides being able to serve in the Family Search Center, we had several opportunities for service and teaching.  We also cleaned the church floor where we play pickle ball because it had gotten so dirty.

We did have a wonderful all day Zone Conference with half of the mission.  Sister Carter taught us about 2T- Thanking others twice.  Unfortunately the only picture I took at Zone Conference was a picture of the cars in the the parking lot. Every six weeks at conference the cars are inspected by the missionary in charge of the cars.

We had to cancel our temple trip this week because Joe was under the weather.  He did feel better by the end of the week when Tyler came to town on a work overnighter.  We once again visited the beach and walked around Balboa Park.  A perfect end to our week.

While at Balboa Park we stopped at the Lily Pond and took a picture.  My Grandma Louise Smith, who I never met took a picture at this same spot over a 100 years ago!
